Who doesn’t love a good music festival? Summer in the UK offers plenty of diverse festival-going experiences to choose from – and one of the most popular of all is the upcoming Creamfields, set to take place between 23rd-26th August.
What is Creamfields?
One of the biggest dance music festivals in the UK, Creamfields brings a combination of DJ sets and live acts together for three days of summer music. First hosted in 1998, Creamfields has been running for the last twenty years - and is only going from strength to strength. Each year, the best and brightest in dance, from new artists to established legends of the genre, flock to the venue for great music and a fantastic atmosphere.
The question every music fan wants to know – who’s playing at this year’s festival? Creamfields 2018 has put together an impressive line-up of music talent, including legends such as Pete Tong, Alesso and Groove Armada, alongside the likes of Fatboy Slim, Above & Beyond and Paul Van Dyk. The line-up at Creamfields is always considered to be strong, but 2018 is particularly notable for gathering together some of the original artists from the early days of the festival with fresh talent just getting started on the dance music scene.
How do I get to Creamfields?
The venue has changed over the years, but 2018’s three day event will be located in the Cheshire countryside of Daresbury. This is a particularly handy location as there’s so many different ways of getting there, including a dedicated coach just for festival-goers, as well as a Creamfields shuttle bus, great train links and the chance to drive there if that’s more convenient.
How do I get tickets?
There are a few different ways to score tickets to this most desirable of music festivals, but most of them will involve paying big prices to ticket touts or unreliable online portals – all while worrying about your investment. Smart music fans can instead rely on SeatSurfer, which allows them to connect and buy and sell concert tickets via a secure and trusted platform. As the fastest growing fan-to-fan ticket exchange site, SeatSurfer takes ethics seriously, and even implements price caps to make sure you’re not swindled!
