Football might not be coming home but it’s been a scorcher of a summer so far, with LOADS of the world’s biggest artists on the road in the UK with huge tours and plenty of fabulous festivals taking place too. Wireless Festival tickets were in-demand on SeatSurfer, with fans hoping to catch Post Malone, Stormzy and… DJ Khaled (who failed to show up due to ‘travel issues)!

Although, fans were spoilt with a surprise Drake set when the hip-hop superstar turned up to step-in for Khaled at the last minute. Throughout the day there’d been rumours about Drake’s appearance, although no headliner had been confirmed. Drake was welcomed on stage by rapper, Giggs who delivered a fantastic set too. Drizzy performed a six-song set for the raucous crowd, with live debuts for several songs from his new record ‘Scorpion’. As much as we love DJ Khaled and had ‘Wild Thoughts’ about what his set might have included, we’d choose Drake over him any day. Drake’s set was short and sweet, but it certainly delivered, it would have been nice to see him perform ‘another one’ (or two) though…

It’s safe to say that this year’s Wireless Festival was a real treat and one of the best of the summer so far. We’ve also seen plenty of other spectacular shows taking place across the UK during recent months, last night ‘Rap God’ EMINEM performed at Twickenham, bringing out 50 Cent and Ed Sheeran as guests - wow! Slim Shady’s set was full of ALL his biggest hits including ‘Stan’ and ‘Not Afraid’ - the 60,000 strong crowd were bouncing all-night. EMINEM isn’t the only artist to have brought a huge stadium tour to the UK this month, throughout June, SeatSurfer fans enjoyed stunning shows from Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Taylor Swift and the Foo Fighters - their tours all received fantastic reviews.

Looking ahead into August, we’ve still got Reading & Leeds, V Festival and Bestival to look forward to with amazing acts including Panic at the Disco, Mark Ronson & Diplo and Kings of Leon set to appear across the three line-ups. For last-minute tickets or if you’d like to sell your tickets to real-music fans, you can count on SeatSurfer. Browse all of the latest tickets on our marvellous marketplace here!
